What we read, why we read it, and what we never do without you.
Essen4u connects to your delivery platforms to manage menus, prices and reporting. This page sets out, in plain terms, what that access covers and how it is protected.
| Data | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Menu and listing details | To keep brand listings in sync with the master menu |
| Listing prices and availability | To publish price and sold-out changes you allow |
| Orders and order items | For demand forecasts, stock usage and reporting |
| Commission and payout data | To calculate margin per brand and platform |
| Discounts funded by the kitchen | So margin reflects what you actually receive |
Customer contact details from orders are not needed for any Essen4u feature and are not stored.
Automated pricing stays inside your boundaries
Automated pricing always operates within the margin floors, price ceilings and change caps you configure. Brands set to manual approval never receive a price change until someone on your team approves it.
How it is protected
Stated plainly.
Pricing-change audit trail
Every automated adjustment is logged with time, listing, platform, old price, new price, reason and the rule that allowed it. Logs are reviewable at any time.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest in our databases and backups.
Platform credentials
Connection credentials are stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions your account is configured for.
Data separation
Each account’s data is logically separated. One kitchen can never see another kitchen’s menus, prices or results.
Least-privilege access
Staff access to customer accounts is limited to support and onboarding tasks, and is logged.
Roles in your account
You decide who in your team can change rules, approve prices or view financial reports.
